采用热处理法去除浸润剂(淀粉型)，将玻璃纤维布上的浸润剂、浆料在一定温度、一定时间内使其分解炭化和去除。处理后的玻璃纤维布的外观是茶褐色，仍保存浸润剂残留量为0.2-0.4%，保留强度为70%。为了达到浸润剂少而又有较高的保留强度，还必须再处理，进入分批热处理阶段(焖烧炉)。
